Product introduction and services
VeChain Work is a mobile application on VeChain ToolChainTM platform for internal users of the enterprise. The chip or QR code purchased by the company on the VeChain ToolChainTM platform is the only code recorded on the VeChain blockchain. The chips are used for anti-counterfeiting.
VeChain Work can digitize corporate product information and business process. VeChain Work supports both mobile apps (including iOS and Android systems) and UHF handheld apps, and both are adaptive to different chip types and are suitable for different scenarios.
VeChain Work: You can use VeChain Work to scan the product's QR codes or built-in chips, which can play a important role in the following scenarios:
- Cross-border commodities (such as wine, livestock products such as beef, seafood products such as salmon, tea and honey, and other agricultural products), from overseas wineries / ranches / fisheries / farms, to bonded area warehouses, distribution centers, and various sales channels. VeChain Work can track and manage the entire lifecycle of each product to achieve the overall traceability in their entire lifecycle.
- To trace high-end products (luxury products), including its logistics, warehousing, and resale processes.
VeChain Work supports camera scanning and infrared scanning modes, and supports high-frequency anti-counterfeiting and ultra-high-frequency chips. Employees authorized by the enterprise can bind and activate products, view product information, perform binding and unbinding, and collect logistics traceability information.

Bind group
-
In the logistics process, in order to facilitate transportation, companies usually package goods into boxes. Information collection during the transportation process does not allow unpacking. Therefore, you need to bind the VID of each product with the VID of the box. In the subsequent logistics and transportation process, you only need to scan the box VID for data collection, and the relevant data will be automatically synchronized with the product VID information in the box. The label on the box is the Parent VID, and the product labels are Sub VIDs size.
-
As shown in the figure below, select [Bind group]in the data points list.
-
On the collection binding page, enter the [Name]of the binding, and first click [Parent VID]to scan the code label, such as the box or car label. Select NFC or camera mode scan code according to the tag type. Only one Parent VID can be selected in one operation.
-
After completing [Parent VID], please click [Sub VID]to select NFC or camera mode scan code according to the tag type. If it is a QR code, click to scan the QR code, and then click [Confirm]after scanning. If it is an NFC chip, move the chip close to the phone to read the chip. After reading all the chips, confirm whether all Sub VIDs need to be bound under the Parent VID. Click [Submit]to complete the group binding.
-
You can check the submission record and the status on the blockchain through the settings menu in the upper right corner
-
Unbind group
When you unpack the box to take out the product, please remember to unbind the product from the box, otherwise the subsequent items will continue to synchronize to the products and cause unnecessary losses.
- As shown in the figure below, enter the group unbinding in the datapoint list.
-
Enter the name of the unbinding, click[Parent VID]to scan the tag, such as tags on the box or the vehicle. Select NFC or camera mode according to the type of tag. There can only be one Parent VID in one operation.
-
Click the[Sub VIDs list], and select NFC or camera mode scan code according to the tag type. If it is a QR code, click to scan the QR code. After scanning, click Confirm. If it is an NFC chip, keep the chip close to the phone to read the chip. After reading all the chips, confirm whether all the Sub VIDs need to be unbind, and click [Submit]to complete the unbinding.
