The cost for【Traceability information】:
- Case 1 - Take wine traceability as an example. There are 100 bottles of wine in one batch that have been delivered to the channel distributor, and the staff makes the following operations:
- Confirm the delivery: the system will automatically record the location, image, and other necessary files.
- This process costs
N+1=100 bottles+1=101 TCC
- Later, the staff finds that the image is too low-quality and replaces it with a better one by updating delivery information in the system.
- This update costs 1 TCC.
- After checking the actual number of goods, the staff finds that the batch contains 102 bottles so the delivery information needs to be updated again.
- The second update costs
X+1=2 bottles+1=3TCC (X=2 bottles of wine left out)
- Case 2 - take another wine traceability case as an example - there are two categories of alcohol in a batch, including 12 bottles of wine and 6 bottles of spirits. The staff makes the following operations:
- Without opening any of the products, the staff scan the code on the box and confirm the delivery. The system will automatically record the location, image, and other necessary data.
- The process costs:
N+1= (6 bottles of spirit+1 box)+(12 bottles of wine+1 box)+1=21 TCC
Here are three sample cases of TCC consumption
Case 1:
A cosmetics Brand needs to trace its high-end cosmetics product lines from process to recycling using VeChain ToolChainTM. The Brand produces and ships 1,000 products per month, including two different product specifications (330ml/500ml).
Employee A in the factory creates two product SKUs for each product type using VeChain ToolChainTM platform, attaches the corresponding QR codes to all 1,000 products, and scans QR codes to upload the shipping information to the VeChainThor blockchain using the VeChain Work App.
Employee B in the store needs to confirm the delivery after receiving these 1,000 products using the VeChain Work App.
Employee C in the recycling department uploads the collection of recycled bottles after receiving 1,000 products via the VeChain Work App.
Case 2
A cosmetics Brand needs to trace its high-end cosmetics product lines from process to recycling using the VeChain ToolChainTM. The Brand produces and ships 1,000 products per month. There is only one type of product with the specifications of 330ml.
Employee A in the factory creates one product SKU using the VeChain ToolChainTM, attaches the corresponding QR codes to all 1,000 products, packs them into 50 boxes (each has 20 bottles), and scans QR codes to upload the shipping information to the VeChainThor blockchain using the VeChain Work App.
Employee B in the store needs to confirm the delivery after receiving these 50 boxes.
Employee C in the recycling department uploads the collection of empty bottles after receiving 1,000 products.
Key operations in Case 2 which cost TCCs
- Create new user accounts for employee ABC
- SKU of each product =1
- The quantity of VIDs=bottles=1000
- The quantity of VIDs=boxes=50
- Dispatch=1
Case 3
A cosmetics Brand needs to trace its high-end cosmetics product lines from process to recycling by using the VeChain ToolChainTM. The Brand produces and ships a number of 1,000 products per month, including two different product specifications (330ml/500ml).
Employee A in the factory creates one product SKU using the VeChain ToolChainTM, attaches the corresponding QR codes to all 1,000 products, and packs 20 bottles in each box, and delivers one box at a time, repeating 50 times.
Employee B in the store needs to confirm the delivery after receiving these 50 boxes.
Employee C in the recycling department records the collection of empty bottles after receiving 1,000 products.
Key operations in case 2 which cost TCCs:
- Create new user accounts for employee SKU of each product=2
- The quantity of VIDs=bottles=1000
- The quantity of VIDs=boxes=50
- Batches=50
