Here are three sample cases of TCC consumption
Case 1:
A cosmetics brand needs to trace its high-end cosmetics product lines from process to recycling. The brand produces and ships 1,000 products per month, including two different product specifications (330ml/500ml).
Employee A in the factory creates two product SKUs for each product type on VeChain ToolChain®️, attaches the corresponding QR codes to all 1,000 products, and scans QR codes to upload the shipping information to the VeChain blockchain. Employee A's operations cost breakdown:
- Create SKU x2 = 2TCC
- Bind SKU of 500 products = N+1 = 501 TCC
- BIND SKU again of another 500 products = N+1 = 501 TCC
- Upload shipping information to 1,000 products once = N+1 = 1,001 TCC
- Sub-total = 2,005 TCC
Employee B in the store needs to confirm the delivery of the 1,000 products using the ToolChain Work App. Employee B's operations cost breakdown:
- Confirm delivery of 1,000 products once = N+1 = 1,001 TCC
- Sub-total = 1,001 TCC
Employee C in the recycling department uploads the collection of recycled bottles after receiving 1,000 products via the ToolChain Work App. Employee C's operations cost breakdown:
- Upload collection of 1,000 recycled bottles once = N+1 = 1,001 TCC
- Sub-total = 1,001 TCC
The grand total = 2,005 + 1,001 + 1,001 = 4,007 TCC
Case 2
A cosmetics brand needs to trace its high-end cosmetics product lines from process to recycling using the VeChain ToolChain®. The brand produces and ships 1,000 products per month. There is only one type of product with the specifications of 330ml.
Employee A in the factory creates one product SKU, attaches the corresponding QR codes to all 1,000 products, packs them into 50 boxes (each has 20 bottles), and scans QR codes to upload the shipping information to the VeChain blockchain using the ToolChain Work App. Employee A's operations cost breakdown:
- Create SKU x1 = 1 TCC
- Upload shipping information to 1,000 products once = N+1 = 1,001 TCC
- Sub-total = 1,002
Employee B in the store needs to confirm the delivery of the 50 boxes. Employee B's operations cost breakdown:
- Confirm delivery of 1,000 products once = N+1 = 1,001 TCC
- Sub-total = 1,001 TCC
Employee C in the recycling department uploads the collection of all empty bottles. Employee C's operations cost breakdown:
- Upload collection of 1,000 recycled bottles once = N+1 = 1,001 TCC
- Sub-total = 1,001 TCC
The grand total = 1,002 + 1,001 + 1,001 = 3,004 TCC
Case 3
A cosmetics brand needs to trace its high-end cosmetics product lines from process to recycling by using the VeChain ToolChain®. The brand produces and ships a number of 1,000 products per month, including two different product specifications (330ml/500ml).
Employee A in the factory creates two product SKU using the VeChain ToolChain®, attaches the corresponding QR codes to all 1,000 products, and packs 20 bottles in each box, and delivers one box at a time, repeating 50 times. Employee A's operations cost breakdown:
- Create SKU x2 = 2 TCC
- Bind SKU of 500 products = N+1 = 501 TCC
- BIND SKU again of another 500 products = N+1 = 501 TCC
- Upload 50 shipping information to 1,000 products once = N+1 = 1,001 TCC
- Sub-total = 2,005
Employee B in the store needs to confirm the delivery of these 50 boxes. Employee B's operations cost breakdown:
- Confirm delivery of 1,000 products that come in 50 boxes = N+1 = 1,001 TCC
- Sub-total = 1,001 TCC
Employee C in the recycling department records the collection of empty bottles. Employee C's operations cost breakdown:
- Upload collection of 1,000 recycled bottles once = N+1 = 1,001 TCC
- Sub-total = 1,001 TCC
The grand total = 2,005 + 1,001 + 1,001 = 4,007 TCC
